In partnershop with La Grua center in Stonington, Josué Orellana, Expressiones AIR Fall 2023-Winter 2024 show his most recent body of works. Through a series of photographic metaphors, this ethereal display by Josué Orellana is a poetic meditation on the ebb and flow of connections within the human experience, each image a reflection of the search for the sacred divine and the ache its absence manifests in those for whom it eludes. Don’t miss this beautiful and provocative exhibit, presented in partnership with Expressiones Cultural Center.Opening reception Friday, January 12, 5-7pm. Orellana is a self-taught Honduran artist and educator. Born in Tegucigalpa and discovered a love of the visual arts at a young age. He studied both photography and filmmaking and has been recognized for his works nationally and internationally.
