Asterion is one of the characters from Cretan mythology known to many as the Minotaur. As a visual artist and educator, I researched this culture and I found a language in synchrony with the original piece created by Ramón Ostolaza. The result of this creative process is a helmet or bull's head with an expression of suffering and espair. I transformed the mythological past and redeemed the Minotaur. I present this mythological character to everyday life as a Victim of other people's sins. The bull's head was born little by little observed by curious eyes that became part of his and our history. Materials: wire,thread,needle,aluminum,masking tape, paper, glue,foam, acrylic paint and arificial fur.
